Who is The Bored Baker?

Hey you!
I’m May Kristin, the hands (and heart) behind The Bored Baker.

I’m originally from Norway, but these days you can find me in Scheveningen, Den Haag, where the sea breeze keeps me company while I bake. By trade I’m actually a classically trained singer, and music is definitely my first love. But, sometimes, I find myself having quiet moments between gigs. To fill that “boring” time, I turned to something that’s always brought me joy: baking!

What began as a sweet hobby has grown into The Bored Baker. I’ve been baking for years, and I adore crafting both timeless favourites and intricate designs that feel magical:
whether it’s a multi-layer cake for a big celebration or cupcakes to brighten up an ordinary day.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to make life just a little sweeter, one bite at a time.
